The International Center for Development Communication (ICDC) under the Extension and Training Office (ETO), Kasetsart University organized the Training on “Disease Diagnostic System” for ten (10) Livestock officers from the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, Bangladesh. It was held on 6 -15 July 2019. This program aims for the participants to acquire knowledge or ideas regarding disease diagnostic system, prevention and health risk analysis, Epidemiological studies, animal health care and advisory services, farm management and husbandry practices, vaccination, adaptive and applied livestock research. This was done through sharing and discussion with pertinent facilitators, professors and experts in the field particularly experts in farms such as Suwan Vajokkasikij Chicken farm at Kasetsart University, National Institute of Animal Health (NIAH), Bureau of Disease Control and Veterinary Services (BDCVS), Loong Chow Farm in Supanburi Province and Kasetsart University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. ICDC also organized cultural trip for the group to Wat Phra Kaew (the Temple of the Emerald Buddha) & Grand Palace to explore Thailand more. Moreover, this group had visit to SEALIFE Bangkok Ocean World and Safari world. This program is indeed a success as the participants gained much knowledge from the program that can be applicable in their job back in their own country.
