The International Center for Development Communication (ICDC) under the Extension and Training Office (ETO), Kasetsart University organized the “Knowledge/Experience Sharing visit on Dairy Farm Management, Milk Processing, Product Diversification and Marketing” for nine (9) District Livestock officers from the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, Bangladesh. It was held on 9 - 13 September 2019. This program aims for the participants to acquire knowledge or ideas regarding Dairy farm management, Milk production and collection system from dairy farm, Milk quality monitoring, Procedure of transforming milk into other food product, Quality assurance system for products made by milk, Challenges in milk production system, and Product Diversification. This was done through sharing and discussion with pertinent facilitators, professors and experts in the field particularly experts in farms and organizations such as Kasetsart University Dairy Center, Nakornratchasima Animal Nutrition Research and Development Center, Dairy Farming Promotion Organization of Thailand (DPO), Nongpho Ratchaburi Dairy Cooperative Limited (Under the Royal Patronage), and Monruedee Dairy Farm. ICDC also organized cultural trip for the group to Pattaya where they have enjoyed the cultural show and elephant show, and the beauty of the view point of Pattaya and the Nongnooch tropical garden. This program is indeed a success as the participants gained much knowledge from the program that can be applicable in their job back in their own country.
